Welcome to planDisney, Christine!
We’re happy to see that you’ll be visiting The Most Magical Place on Earth in just a few days! It’s going to be a truly memorable vacation for you and your party. We have been having lovely weather recently! It has been a little cooler in the evening, so remember to bring a light jacket! (If you forget a jacket, there are some adorable Spirit Jersey designs right now available at the theme park and hotel gift shops that would keep you warm and be a great souvenir for this trip!)
I took a look at the reservations available for
T-REX for the next 2 weeks, and I was not able to find any reservations available for a party of 10. What I would recommend is making 2 reservations at the same time (or as close to the same time as you possibly can get) for 2 parties of 5. On the day of your dining reservations, go to the front podium of T-REX a few minutes before you need to check in. Explain your situation and make the request to be seated together as a party of 10. I have had luck in the past doing this; however, please understand that the possibility of your party sitting all together is based on availability and will be up to the dining team’s discretion. Please make those 2 dining reservations with the knowledge that they may stay as 2 dining reservations and might not be able to be merged into one for you to dine together.
If you’d rather sit all together, I would recommend fining a quick-service dining location that interests your party. Then you can dine together there or take your food to go and find a nice location outside to sit and enjoy your food together. Some of my favorite quick-service locations in Disney Springs are
The Polite Pig (which offers an awesome barbecue menu) and
The Daily Poutine (which the Korean Barbecue Poutine is by far my favorite).
I really hope that you can secure some reservations for T-REX, Christine! If you have additional questions, just give a little whistle to planDisney — we’d love to hear from you again.
See ya REAL soon!
