Hello there Ellie,
Welcome to planDisney! Thanks for swinging by with your
Disney Dining Plan question. I am a girl who takes photos of my favorite foods on vacation.... for the simple pleasure of capturing those tasty memories, to savor once again in the future. So I'm on the same page with you, when it comes to charting out culinary details ahead of time! It is indeed a magical part of the Disney World vacation planning fun.
I now have you to thank for placing Chef Art Smith's Homecomin' firmly on my future Disney Dining wish list. I just checked out their menu, and asked a few of my fellow planDisney panelists for any recommendations... and they have me convinced it's a delicious must-do! The consensus is that the fried chicken, biscuits, and donuts are to-die-for scrumptious. As you may have noticed on the
Chef Art Smith's Homecomin' brunch menu, they do not have any separate dessert offerings during brunch. I checked with a helpful Cast Member, and she said any additions or substitutions would be up to the individual restaurant. It may be worth asking your server once you are there, because I see those savory Everglazed Donuts on the brunch 'Sunrise Starters' menu. No matter what, I'm certain you'll enjoy a great meal and not walk away hungry!
One other note. I'm not sure what time your brunch is scheduled, but
my fellow panelist Lindsey mentioned if you arrive at 11:00 am (or later) it may be treated slightly differently... with both brunch and lunch menu options you can receive by using your Dining Plan entitlements.
I hope this helps you get your practically perfect dining plans in order. Please visit us again at planDisney if we can help with any other questions.
Bon Appetit!
Tami
