Hello there, Megan!
Welcome to planDisney and thanks for stopping by with a wonderful
Walt Disney World Resort vacation planning question. We're delighted you've stopped by our
Thotful Spot with your question, and I'm thrilled to hear you're planning to dine at one of my favorite restaurants at Magic Kingdom Park -
The Crystal Palace. (My son and I have been craving the Churro Mickey Waffles ever since our visit a few weeks ago!) I'm here to help you prepare for your breakfast reservation with the
silly old bear himself!
Oh bother... it seems as though your breakfast reservation falls before
Magic Kingdom Park opens for the day. Not to worry, Megan. On the contrary, actually! This is excellent news because it not only means you'll be among the first Guests to belly up to the bountiful buffet, but you'll be able to stroll down a mostly empty Main Street, U.S.A. Megan, even though your breakfast reservation begins before the
early theme park entry window opens, rest assured that you'll be able to make it to The Crystal Palace on time for your booking. My son and I were in the same situation just a few weeks ago and I'm happy to share my experience. You'll enter through the main entrance of Magic Kingdom Park when the turnstiles open (for us, it was approximately 45 minutes before the early entry period began). Then, you'll make your way directly to The Crystal Palace. Since the restaurant is right at the end of Main Street, U.S.A. (and not in the area of the park designated for early entry only) you won't need to confirm your Disney Resort hotel Guest status before proceeding to the dining location.
Megan, when we dined at The Crystal Palace for an early morning breakfast reservation recently, we found that we were able to visit with the Hundred-Acre Wood pals multiple times throughout our meal. This is one of the advantages of being one of the first dining parties seated at a restaurant in the morning! Be sure to have your autograph books and cameras ready to capture some special memories with Winnie the Pooh, Eeyore, Piglet, and Tigger. Oh - and as I mentioned earlier... don't miss the delicious, warm
Churro Mickey Waffles!
I hope you've found this information helpful, Megan, and I wish you a marvelous meal with those cuddly, classic Disney Characters! If you have any additional questions about your upcoming holiday, please feel free to revisit us here at
planDisney. We're here to help you make the most of your time at The Most Magical Place on Earth!
Warm wishes,
Lauren
