Welcome to planDisney, Ines! A dream is a wish your heart makes, and it sounds like yours is dreaming of a magical meal inside of
Cinderella Castle with your family on your upcoming visit! This is truly one of the most iconic Disney dining experiences, so I understand wanting to get the entire family around the table together to share this moment!
Advance reservations for
Cinderella's Royal Table are some of the most popular reservations and do tend to book up early. Because you have an existing reservation for a party of 4 already, it is possible that the restaurant can accommodate the additional members of your party at check-in, but it cannot be guaranteed.
But, as Cinderella tells us, if you keep believing, the dream that you wish can come true, so I can offer you a few suggestions to try to secure this magical experience for your party of six:
- Keep checking availability on the My Disney Experience mobile app. As other Guest's plans change, you might find new availability as your date draws near. I would also recommend contacting Disney dining by phone at 407-WDW-DINE to inquire about availability or even modifying your existing reservation in advance of your visit.
- Book a second reservation for a party of 2, if you can find availability. Sometimes smaller parties are easier to accommodate, so booking a second reservation for 2 people that overlaps with your family's existing reservation will guarantee you all can share in the experience together, but may be seated separately. When you arrive to the restaurant, you can always request to be seated together or near one another, but keep in mind this is not guaranteed either.
- Check with the restaurant in person ahead of your reservation. This will allow them to have time to see if they can accommodate your larger party, and if they cannot, it will allow you time to cancel your existing reservation without a penalty if you so choose.
- Have a back-up plan. If all else fails and you decide to try to accommodate your additional Guests when you arrive, be prepared with a back-up plan in case the restaurant cannot make it happen. Whether you will all choose to dine someplace else together or split up for dinner and reunite after, it's best to have a plan in place that keep the magic going for everyone!
Ines, I do hope you are able to get everyone together for this magical dinner experience! Since you'll be arriving just before the
Fourth of July, make sure to read up on all of the special, limited-time holiday offerings throughout the Walt Disney World Resort that will celebrate America's independence! It's going to be a fantastic celebration of freedom, fun, and fireworks!
See you real soon,
Alison
