Welcome Home, Kayla! Thanks so much for making a return trip to planDisney--I'm so glad you decided to be our guest once again. I'm happy to give you an assist with your research so you can plan a magical
Disney Vacation Club adventure sometime soon!
The DVC resorts feature accommodations ranging from the cozy Tower Studios found at
Disney's Riviera Resort to the 3-Bedroom Grand Villas that you'll find at many properties. As for 1-Bedroom Villas, you'll find that
Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani Village and
Bay Lake Tower at Disney’s Contemporary Resort both have two full bathrooms. However, neither resort currently has pull-down beds –instead, they have pull-out sleeper sofas.
All of the DVC resorts are on a regular schedule of renovations and refurbishments to keep them in tip-top shape. In the latest round of updates, many of the resorts have seen the installation of pull-down beds. Both Animal Kingdom Villas and Bay Lake Tower are scheduled for renovations beginning in 2025, so they may receive these features, too! I will say that we’ve never had any complaints about the sleeper sofas, but have found the pull-downs to be quite comfortable and a good space-saver!
Kayla, I can also suggest looking into a Deluxe Studio at
Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows. This is our family’s Home Resort and the studios here have lots of room–including two bathrooms! Bathroom #1 has a sink and shower, while bathroom #2 has a toilet, shower/tub combo, and sink. It is a game-changer when traveling with our two teenagers! The Polynesian studios also feature a pull-down bed, as well as an additional single bed that pulls down from under the television. My youngest is now 15 and that “secret” bed is still her preferred sleeping spot!
I hope this information is helpful for your planning purposes, Kayla! If I can help with any other questions as you're researching your accommodation options, please
reach out directly anytime. Thanks again for stopping by!
Stay Magical!
