how much is it to rent a wheel chair

    Hello, Dorothy!

Thank you for visiting planDisney and for allowing us to assist in planning your upcoming adventure to Walt Disney World Resort. I understand that you're looking into wheelchair rentals to ensure a comfortable and magical experience during your visit. Rest assured, Disney has a variety of options to accommodate guests' mobility needs, making it simple to get around and enjoy all the attractions, dining, and entertainment offerings!

Wheelchair rentals are available at each of the four theme parks, Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon, Disney’s Blizzard Beach, and Disney Springs. For rentals inside the theme parks, the current rate for a standard wheelchair is $12 per day. If you plan to visit the parks for multiple days, you can save a bit with a Length of Stay rental. By opting for this option, you pay a one-time fee of $10 per day, which covers wheelchair use for the duration of your stay. This can be especially helpful if you're planning to spend several days exploring all the magic Walt Disney World Resort has to offer. Please note that all prices are subject to change without notice.

If you’d like the convenience of a length-of-stay rental at your Disney Resort hotel, ScooterBug, the Disney Featured Provider, offers strollers, ECVs, and wheelchairs directly to Disney Resort Guests. With ScooterBug, you don’t need to be present when the equipment is delivered to your resort hotel. ScooterBug works directly with Disney Resort Cast Members to manage the deliveries and returns, adding extra ease to your stay. You can reserve in advance by visiting scooterbug.com/orlando or by calling (800) 726-8284.

Here’s a helpful tip for your visit: rentals at each location are available on a first-come, first-served basis, so arriving early can help you secure the mobility device you need. I hope this helps as you plan a magical and smooth experience at Walt Disney World Resort. If you have more questions or would like additional tips, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

Wishing you a visit filled with unforgettable memories and magical moments!
