Hi William,
Thank you for dropping by planDisney with a question!
I am happy to see that you have
MagicBand+! As long as you are still able to charge them, you should be good to go. We bought ours in 2023 also and I just used mine again a few weeks ago. I also have another MagicBand+ as a back-up just in case one stops working or I misplace it.
I also suggest that you set up
Disney MagicMobile Service to have as a backup, especially for park entry. If someone forgets a MagicBand at the hotel, you can use Disney MagicMobile Service and not panic about going back to the resort hotel to retrieve the MagicBand. Inevitably, at least one day of our trip someone (myself included) has forgotten a MagicBand.
Looking at your arrival date, you have plenty of time to consider restaurants for
advanced dining reservations. We always plan to make reservations because we love to take a break during the day and eat at table-service restaurants, we love
character dining experiences and those can have very limited or no availability, and our girls have food allergies so we prefer being able to speak with a chef before they order.
William, it sounds like you are in the countdown phase of trip planning! I do have a few final recommendations. If you have not already considered it, I suggest
Memory Maker. Now that our girls are teenagers, I am so happy that we started using Memory Maker on those earlier trips. We have so many photo memories over the years and those memories are priceless. And, finally, be sure to go see
For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration. I just experienced this show with my MagicBand+ and it was so much fun!
Magic and memories,
Donyell
