Hi Team, We have Date based Park Hopper tickets (3 Days 12/30/24 - 1/4/25). Do I have to make a reservation still? (Planning on going to Epcot on NYE as our first day) Thanks! :)

Hiya, Jay, and welcome to planDisney! It sounds like you’re counting down to an exciting New Year’s Eve celebration at Walt Disney World Resort! I’m so glad that you’re here today with this great question about your tickets. My Panelist pals and I are here and happy to help our fellow Guests, just like you!

Jay, you’ll be happy to know that your date-based ticket should not require a park reservation. I understand your desire to secure your spot at EPCOT on New Year’s Eve, because this park has been known to reach capacity in the past. My best advice is to head to EPCOT early and plan to stay all day. Make at least one Advance Dining Reservation so that you’ll have a dedicated spot to relax and enjoy a meal during the long day. Take advantage of any Lightning Lane options you'd like, and have a great time!

Counting down to the new year at EPCOT is so much fun because each country in the World Showcase celebrates in a different way. You're going to love it! There's no place like the Most Magical Place on Earth to start a new year.

Jay, I hope this is helpful to you as you make your plans for your upcoming vacation at Walt Disney World Resort! If you have any other questions about your vacation or would like recommendations on where to find awesome snacks and drinks during your visit, please stop back by planDisney - you have a friend in me!

    See you real soon!
