Hi Johannah!
Welcome to planDisney. We're so glad you strolled on by with a question for us today.
My pals
Elizabeth and
Kaitlin recently shared some
fantastic tips for visiting Walt Disney World Resort with little ones. The entire video series is definitely worth a watch in advance of your visit but Elizabeth details lots of
helpful information about stroller rentals. I did a bit of extra research and was pleased to learn that pre-paid multi-day (length of stay) rentals will also save you a few dollars as compared to renting one day at a time.
Though there is not currently an option to reserve a
stroller rental in advance of your visit, you can purchase a multi-day rental in person when you arrive at the parks. Just let the Cast Members know how many days you'd like to reserve and they'll be happy to process the transaction for you on-site. Keep in mind that these strollers cannot be removed from the parks so you'll need to pick up a new one at each park if you're planning to do any
park hopping, and your kiddos will need to do a bit of walking (or piggyback riding) as you travel from your resort or utilize complimentary Disney transportation between the parks and resorts.
If you don't want to bring your own stroller from home but do want to have one available for use at your resort you can also look into third-party rental options in the Orlando area like ScooterBug, a Disney featured provider. I rented a double stroller from a similar company when my own children were little and it saved us a lot of heavy lifting at the end of our park days.
As you're planning your visit take some time to check out a
few more tips from my friends LeAndra and Leslie and read through the
Walt Disney World Resort preschool page to help narrow down which attractions and experiences might appeal to your little Mouseketeer.
I hope this helps Johannah! If we can answer any additional planning questions please don't hesitate to come back and let us know.
Wishing you a most magical visit!
Amy
