Hey there, Jean!
It's truly a pleasure to welcome you to planDisney, and I'm so glad you took the time to send us this great question. It sounds like you're putting the final pieces in place for your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation, which is always an exciting time! There's nothing quite like the anticipation of a Disney trip, and I'm happy to be a small part of your planning journey.
Disability Access Service (DAS) is a valuable program designed to help Guests who, because of a developmental disability, might find it difficult to wait in a regular standby line for a long time. As part of the registration process, you'll have a
live video chat with a friendly Cast Member who will talk with you to better understand the Guest's specific needs and help determine which accommodations will best support your visit. You're able to schedule this conversation up to 60 days before your park visit, and you can do it right through the Walt Disney World website or the
My Disney Experience app...whichever is most convenient for you!
Before starting the chat, make sure everyone in your travel party is connected through the
Family & Friends List in your My Disney Experience account. Also, don't forget that the Guest the DAS is being requested for must be present for the video call and will need to experience the attraction when using a DAS return time in the parks.
Jean, did you know that your visit lines up perfectly with the
EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival? This fan-favorite event features unique culinary experiences, live entertainment, and fun activities for the whole family. It's the perfect time to explore EPCOT with your tastebuds!
Thanks again for visiting us at planDisney, Jean! If you have any additional questions, we're always happy to help!
Magic Awaits,
Kami
