Howdy, Nathan!
Welcome to planDisney and thanks for galloping over with your great
Walt Disney World Resort vacation planning question. I'm excited to hear you're considering reconnecting with nature at the
Campsites at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort! I'd be happy to help you prepare for a rootin' tootin' stay at the most magical campground on earth.
There's nothing like being in the great outdoors - especially when it means staying in the middle of the magic! Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground offers Guests a truly authentic camping experience while allowing them to stay just a short
ferry boat ride away from Magic Kingdom Park. Nathan, I wanted to be sure I provided you with the most accurate and up-to-date information possible, so I phoned a partner at the Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground. Unfortunately, I was informed that, at this time, propane tanks cannot be refilled at the campground. However, I'm told that campers can access propane refills offsite at nearby popular camping supply stores, RV retailers, or even some gas stations.
Nathan, during your stay at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground, be sure to trot on over to
Tri-Circle-D Ranch to say "hay" to the Happiest Horses on Earth! There, you can visit Cinderella's Ponies and the majestic draft horses that pull vehicles on Main Street, U.S.A. The littler cowpokes in your party can even enjoy
pony rides! One of my favorite parts of staying at the Campsites at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort is the opportunity to watch the
Electrical Water Pageant from the lakeshore. Don't miss this dazzling spectacle which makes its way around Bay Lake and Seven Seas Lagoon every evening!
I hope you've found this information useful, Nathan. If you have any additional planning questions before you giddy-up over to Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground, feel free to mosey on back to
planDisney anytime! We're here to help you and your cowpokes make the most of your Walt Disney World Resort vacation.
Happy trails,
Lauren
