Hello there, Elizabeth!
Welcome to planDisney! There are few places as nostalgic and magical as Disneyland Park. I'd love to give you some ideas on how to spend the day together!
My first suggestion is to consider booking the
Holiday Time at the Disneyland Resort Tour! It's a 2-hour walking tour (mobility devices are welcome) where your guide will share lots of history about Disneyland Park. The tour includes reserved viewing for
A Christmas Fantasy Parade, a ride on
"it's a small world" Holiday, and a festive treat!
The parade route runs from "it's a small world" past the Matterhorn and down Main Street, U.S.A. so you can look for a bench along the route to watch if you arrive early. You can see the entertainment schedule on the
Disneyland Mobile App and plan when you'd like to save a spot. Right now, it looks like the parade will be at 2:30 PM and 5:30 PM on the day of your visit.
There is a great section on the Disneyland website all about
mobility services in the parks. Guests are welcome to
bring their own ECV or wheelchair or rent one just outside the park. If it helps keep your energy up for a full day in the park then I say go for it!
I often visit the parks with three generations of family members, so I know that everyone likes to go at their own pace. Some of our favorite "everyone loves this" attractions are:
You also might enjoy lunch at
Plaza Inn! If the weather is nice I really love to sit out on the patio. In fact, if you went to do lunch around 1:30 PM you might be able to grab a table outside and stick around to watch the parade roll by! Either way, the fried chicken is delicious.
There is so much to enjoy at the parks, Elizabeth! Please reach out to Guest Relations (there are many locations) if you need any help at all during your visit. I hope it's a magical day!
Keep moving forward!
Amanda
