I recently purchased a Magic Key pass and listed my second first name, while my ID and other cards display both first names. Will I have any issues using the pass, can I show my ID to cast members as proof of identity? I’m concern pass will be suspended.

Hi Katrina! Thanks for visiting planDisney.

While the name on a Magic Key can't be changed or transferred to another Guest, exceptions can sometimes be made for mistakes made when purchasing your Magic Key. To see about getting this error corrected, I suggest you speak with a helpful Cast Member on the dedicated phone line for Magic Key Holders. Alternatively, you can visit the Main Ticket Booths between the parks on the Esplanade. Hopefully, a Cast Member can adjust the name to match the one on your valid government-issued photo ID.

Have you made your theme park reservation for your upcoming park day? Availability isn't guaranteed even for Magic Key holders and can be limited. On popular days it is possible for them to fill up. Check the Blockout dates for updated information on blocked out dates and current theme park reservation availability for your Magic Key.

If you're not already following the official Disneyland Magic Key blog, do so! It's got great information about perks and updates in the parks which you'll appreciate as a Magic Key holder. I always check it out ahead of one of our visits. We've picked up some fun complimentary items after seeing them promoted on the blog.

    Have a magical day!
