Hi Chelsey! Thanks for visiting planDisney.
If you have your
Magic Key linked to your
Disneyland mobile app and have secured your theme park reservation for your preferred day and park, you should be ready to go. Just be sure you also have your valid government-issued ID with you if you purchased an Imagine Key. You'll need to prove your residence in one of the eligible ZIP Codes to enter using that particular Magic Key. When you scan in with your new Magic Key, the Cast Member will snap a quick photo of you, which will link your image with your Magic Key going forward. It's that easy!
If you haven't yet made a theme park reservation, do so as soon as possible. Availability may be limited and isn't guaranteed even with a shiny new Magic Key. Check the
Blockout dates to be sure you're not blocked out and there is currently reservation availability for your Magic Key. I took a quick peek and it appears as if only Disneyland Park is currently available. It is possible on popular dates for those reservations to fill up.
If you find the date or park you want to be full, keep checking! People's plans change and availability reflects when someone cancels or modifies their reservation, giving you a chance to snag your reservation. Persistence helps.
I think you're going to love being a Magic Key holder. I just purchased another one myself. I really appreciate the value of the
discounts. We dine a lot in the parks and it gives us even more reasons to visit our favorite spots like Napa Rose in Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa for an elegant dining experience.
Have a magical day!
Elizabeth
