Hi Fiona! Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney.
I know you're going to love having more access to the parks, fun perks, and great
discounts. I love being a
Magic Key holder and took advantage of securing another one with the reopening of sales. I'm looking forward to enjoying the magic of the
Holidays at the Disneyland Resort with my family using my shiny new Magic Key in just a few short weeks.
In selecting my Magic Key, I took a look at the Blockout dates associated with my new Magic Key since each level has different access. However, even on days when my Magic Key isn't blocked from making theme park reservations, I'm not guaranteed availability. I checked your Imagine Key and it looks like your preferred park day is currently already full. There are no reservations remaining. You can always check the
Blockout days to determine availability. Slashed dates are blocked out but dates with a circle and a slash through them currently have no availability.
However, don't lose hope! People's plans change, and if a Imagine Key holder cancels or modifies their reservation to another date, new availability will be reflected and it can give you a chance to snag that reservation. My best advice is to continue checking. Hopefully, you're able to secure a theme park reservation for your preferred day and park. I will keep my fingers crossed for you.
It sounds like you just purchased your Magic Key so it is understandable that making a theme park reservation in advance wasn't possible. In the future, try to make your theme park reservations as early as you can. I know lack of availability isn't the magical outcome anyone hopes for when they want to visit the Happiest Place on Earth.
Have a magical day!
Elizabeth
