hi, i recently bought the 3-day SoCal ticket i live in Socal and my address is eligible. I do not have a CA Id but only a passport card. Is that something I can use to Verify my address, if not how to i go about get a refund

Hi there, Amanda! Welcome to planDisney—it’s so wonderful to have you with us! Thanks for stopping by with your question about the special Southern California Resident Ticket Offer. It truly is a favorite among our SoCal neighbors, offering a magical way to experience the Disneyland Resort!

Now, since this offer is exclusively for our pixie-dusted friends residing in Southern California, there are some special requirements. To enter the parks with this ticket, each Guest needs to present a valid, government-issued photo ID. The ID needs to show a ZIP code that falls within the eligible range for this offer. You can find the full list of those ZIP codes on the Southern California Resident Ticket Offer page of the Disneyland website.

Both a California driver's license and a state-issued ID card work perfectly for this, as they’ll include your address. Unfortunately, while passports and passport cards are fantastic for traveling the world (and maybe even to a galaxy far, far away!), they don’t include your home address, so they won’t be able to unlock this particular offer. But don't worry, there is some good news. The SoCal Resident tickets are valid all the way through May 15, 2025, so you still have plenty of time to visit the DMV and obtain a California state ID card if you are a resident. Think of it as a little extra time to prepare for your magical adventure!

Amanda, you also mentioned wondering about a refund for your tickets. I wish I had a better answer for you, but generally, Disneyland Resort eTickets, including the SoCal Resident tickets, are nonrefundable. However, all is not lost! There might be a silver lining. Even if you can't use your SoCal Resident ticket yourself, you might be able to apply the amount you paid towards a new theme park ticket, as long as the new ticket’s price is equal to or greater than the original. To explore this option, I recommend calling the friendly Cast Members on the ticket support line. They have a knack for finding solutions and will be happy to assist you!

Another idea, if your heart is set on sharing the magic, is to gift your tickets to a friend or family member who is a SoCal resident! It's like passing along a bit of enchantment. To do this, you can also give the ticket support line a call, and they'll help you transfer the tickets over to the lucky recipient's Disney account.

I know this might not be exactly the news you were hoping for, Amanda, but I hope it helps you find a magical solution. If you have any other questions at all, please don't hesitate to ask! We're always here to help make your Disney dreams come true.

Wishing you a day filled with sunshine and magic!
