Bienvenue, Carolina!
Congratulations on your upcoming wedding! While I've always thought my honeymoon at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge was
practically perfect, your
Disneyland Paris celebration might take the (wedding) cake. I still fondly remember walking hand in hand with my new husband down Main Street, U.S.A., and I can't wait for you to make that special memory with your spouse!
Having celebrated so many of my life's milestones at Walt Disney World Resort, I completely understand your desire to proudly wear a celebration button honoring your happily ever after. The well-wishes from Cast Members and fellow Guests somehow make the day(s) even more special. I did a bit of digging, Carolina, and it seems that Disneyland Paris does typically have a limited variety of complimentary celebration buttons for Guests pending availability that can be collected at City Hall and Studio Services.
My research also indicated that if the buttons are unavailable during your visit, you will likely be offered a sticker instead. If you're concerned about availability and will be visiting Walt Disney World before your wedding, you could pick up a could of 'Happily Ever After' badges to bring with you on your honeymoon. Of course, I completely understand if it's more about collecting a unique badge rather than wearing one in the parks. My husband and I recently celebrated our anniversary at
Aulani, a Disney Resort & Spa, and it was so neat to receive its custom button upon arrival.
It seems that we have a lot in common, Carolina. Not only do we both love celebrating at Disney destinations, but we're big fans of Big Thunder Mountain as well! I'll never forget my shock at how thrilling it was during my first adventure on the Parisian track a few years ago. Unfortunately, Disneyland Paris has not yet shared a date for the big reveal of the attraction's much-anticipated refurbishment. I'm also planning an early summer visit to Disneyland Paris and am hoping to enjoy the Wildest Ride in the West, so our best bet for learning the most up-to-date information on the attraction's reopening will be to keep an eye on
its webpage for an update to the early summer timeline.
Since you're celebrating, Carolina, I encourage you to keep an eye out for the champagne cart on Main Street, U.S.A. Although initially announced as a limited-time offering for the 30th Anniversary, it has continued to appear periodically, so you'll need to be flexible with your plans, but I can think of nothing more romantic than toasting a new marriage in front of
Sleeping Beauty Castle.
Cheers to Happily Ever After,
Lizzie
