Hello Bronwyn, and a very warm welcome to planDisney! I bet you are getting so excited about your upcoming visit to the Happiest Place on Earth! Wow, it's getting close!
I, like you, Bronwyn, am always on the
Disneyland website right at the 60 days out mark before any visit to the Disneyland Resort, ready to make those dining reservations I have my heart set on! Good on you. I'm sorry, however, that you've been having trouble snagging the World of Color: ONE
Dining Package or Dessert Party reservation you've been hoping for. That can be frustrating, I understand! Especially if it's your only day in California Adventure, and you're coming all the way from New Zealand! Oh, my goodness. If I could wave my magic wand to grant you your request, Bronwyn, I would in a second!
Unfortunately, when I spoke with a kind Cast Member, she confirmed my hunch, that
World of Color: ONE may not be showing this particular day of your visit, because of a special event.
But hold on, let's not worry just yet! The
Hours & Events Calendar hasn't quite made it to six weeks out from your arrival date. I recommend you keep an eye on the calendar to see if World of Color: ONE will appear (or not) on the date of your visit. Make sure you've selected your specific date from the blue "Change Date" at the top. And I encourage you to keep checking! The entertainment schedule can change at any time.
If, for whatever reason, you will not get the chance to experience World of Color: ONE this trip, I promise you that your day in California Adventure will still be filled with magic. You're so lucky that you'll be there during the
Food & Wine Festival! One of my favorite parts about this particular festival (besides the delicious bites, of course) is the return of
Soarin' Over California, for a limited time. My family loves this attraction, and I have to admit, it's my very favorite.
Although I wish I had better news for you, Bronwyn, I hope I've been able to answer your question and give you some hope! And I'll keep my fingers crossed that, with a little luck and pixie dust, the wildest Disneyland-dreams that you wish will indeed come true.
Warmest wishes,
McCayla
