Hey there, hi there, Kimberly!
Thanks for
popping by planDisney where you're always as welcome as can be. I'm a fellow
Annual Passholder and frequent buyer of popcorn buckets, so I'd be delighted to assist you today!
Congratulations on joining the Annual Passholder family! You'll love returning to the magic throughout the year. No matter how often I visit, there's always something new to experience in the
Disney Parks.
2024 and beyond will be incredible, and I'm thrilled you'll be part of the excitement.
The official policy regarding popcorn buckets is they are only eligible for refills for the length of your stay, whether you're just enjoying a weekend getaway or a weeklong vacation. At this time, there isn't a special bucket for Annual Passholders, so if accessing discounted popcorn refills is important to you (it's an essential money-saving part of my family's trips), plan to purchase a new one each time you arrive in
Walt Disney World. That being said, I did have a Cast Member once tell me that they are sometimes more flexible, and if you have two visits within a few weeks of each other before a popcorn bucket design is phased out, bring your recently purchased bucket. Let the Cast Member know when you obtained it, and you may be lucky enough to receive the discounted refill rate.
I hope this is helpful, Kimberly! Popcorn is one of my kids' favorite Disney snacks, so we always stop at a stand when we arrive at a theme park. At home, we use some old popcorn buckets for snacking and others for playing in the sand at the beach. We have accumulated quite a collection but find plenty of uses for them at home. Before I go, I'll share one quick tip I learned from my planDisney pal,
Donyell. Attach something small (like a hair tie) to your popcorn bucket as soon as you acquire it. That way, you can easily identify it if you misplace it and it ends up in a sea of lost items!
Best wishes for a memorable year of theme park visits, and if there's anything else
planDisney can do to make your trips even more magical, please come see us again. We're all ears!
See ya real soon,
Betsy
