Marcy from FL Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

I recently acquired the Disney Inspire credit card. We have a VIP tour in Disneyland this May. Should I put the price of the tour on that card? I'm wondering if it will be coded as "Disney" & therefore be eligible for the 3% reward.

Hey there and welcome to planDisney, Marcy. It sounds like your plans are coming together for an amazing visit to the Disneyland Resort. It won't be much longer until you will be walking down Main Street, U.S.A. with Sleeping Beauty Castle in the distance.

Disneyland Resort VIP Tours take your visit to an entirely different level and ensure that you get to do all of the things that your heart desires in Walt's Park. You will be traveling from quite a distance, so I'm excited to hear that you've decided to go all in with this experience.

You and me, we're in a club now, because I also recently acquired the Disney Inspire Visa Card. I just love the new (and exclusive) black and gold Mickey design. I reached out directly to Disney Visa card customer service and they were unsure if a VIP tour would qualify for the higher 3% Disney Rewards earning rate. I recommend reaching out to your Disneyland VIP tour contact to confirm exactly how the charge will be coded and appear on your statement. At a bare minimum, you can expect to receive 1% in Disney Rewards.

I just love being rewarded in pixie dust that can be used towards my future visits to the magic. As a cardmember, you'll also gain access to exclusive character meet and greet opportunities, as well as savings at select dining locations and for select merchandise. These are some great ways to continue that VIP feeling even after your official tour has ended.

Marcy, I wish I had a better answer for you, yet I hope that the information I shared is still helpful in leading you to your next step. If you have any other questions that we can help with before your trip, please come back to see us. Here's wishing you a next-level best Disney day filled with so many new core memories at the Happiest Place on Earth. Adventure is out there!
