It’s so exciting that you received your Guaranteed Stateroom assignment because it’s like opening a surprise gift! I would love to answer your question regarding stateroom upgrades.
In order to get a
stateroom upgrade to a higher category, you should ask for one at the port on the day you embark on your cruise. While you can’t inquire about stateroom upgrades ahead of the sail date, per the Guaranteed Rate guidelines, since part of those guidelines is that the stateroom is assigned to you by Disney Cruise Line, you can ask about a stateroom upgrade at the port on embarkation day. Please remember that this is subject to availability, and if upgraded, your cruise price may change. If there is a stateroom available in the upgraded category you are inquiring about, you will be notified by the Cast Member at the port.
