Andrea,
Thanks for asking another question here at planDisney!
So I don't have a ton of experience with the military ticket service pricing, so I dialed in a few of my planDisney friends who are in the know for some expert advice. Thanks to
Michelle D. and
Amy A. for their help with the official word on what to do.
To begin with, yes, the military service member should be present. So, in these matters, at least one of the six tickets purchased must be used by the Eligible Service Member or his/her spouse. However, after activating the tickets, the service member does not have to be with the other guests at all times.
The did also offer some advice. Apparently, if your tickets are purchased and mailed through
Shades of Green, they arrive already activated and don’t need to be activated in person. So, this can help, though still one of the 6 tickets must be for that eligible service member or their spouse.
Finally, make sure you check out the most
current military ticket program from Disney!
I hope that this helps. I am glad to assist further with most anything, and now you know whom to ask about military program-specific questions as well. See, the whole planDisney team is here to help!
Have a Magical Vacation!
