Hi there, Kerri, and welcome to planDisney!
Thanks for coming to us with your question. I'm glad that you were able to figure things out with regard to the ticket between you and your acquaintance. Your visit to the Disneyland Resort is coming up in about a month, so let's make sure that this issue is all squared away.
You seem to already be aware of the difference between just linking a ticket and being the actual owner of that ticket. I don't have access to your account, so I can't verify the status of the ticket, but if you go into the
Disneyland Mobile App, you should see the ticket displayed under "My Tickets & Passes" and there should not be an option to "Delete Ticket." This choice is only displayed for linked tickets for which you are not the owner. If you want to double check or have further questions, I would recommend speaking to a friendly Cast Member at the
Tickets phone line and they'll definitely be able to check the ticket's status. You should be the only one with full access to a ticket you own, but if the ticket is still linked to another account, they will have access to that ticket's reservations. It's also important to note that the ticket should be unused because a ticket cannot be transferred to another Guest after it's been partially used.
I hope that you'll be able to visit the Happiest Place on Earth without any issues, Kerri! I love the Disneyland Resort over summer because of those long days and warm evenings where it's comfortable even up until the Park closes.
Pixar Fest will be going on and I hope that you get to enjoy the festivities!
If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to us again, Kerri. We'd love to hear from you and you're always welcome at planDisney! We'll see ya real soon!
Wishing You a Great, Big, Beautiful Tomorrow!
