Hey there, Dawn, and welcome to planDisney!
From one military spouse to another, thank you for your service. There are indeed special tickets and discounts for eligible military veterans and their families, which is just another reason why I love Disney World! I am more than happy to dive into the details of what some of those deals are all about. Let's go!
When it comes to theme park tickets, there are multi-day and year-round options for military service members. All of the options are listed on the
official Walt Disney World website. Eligible members include those who are on active duty, reservists, retired, or have a 100% disability rating. If your husband meets those qualifications, he can purchase tickets at your nearby U.S. military base or even the on-Disney-property AFRC,
Shades of Green Resort. He'll be able to buy tickets for up to 6 family members, including himself. To activate your chosen pass, the purchaser must show their military identification upon their first visit.
My husband currently has the Disney Celebrates America Military Salute Ticket that expires on December 18 of this year. It has upcoming blockout dates of November 22- 28, 2026. With this ticket, you can visit over and over again until it expires. If you visit a lot, this is the ticket for your crew! It comes in two versions: the Park Hopper (you can "hop" to all of the theme parks in one day) and the Park Hopper Plus (including
park hopping and the
Disney Water Parks and golf opportunities).
AN EXTRA GEM: Don't miss out on a discounted $98 (at the time of publication)
Memory Maker add-on for eligible military members. This is a great deal on something that will capture all of your special moments around the Resort. You'll be able to download your crew's photos in the
My Disney Experience app.
Dawn, you can find more information about 2026
discounted Resort hotel stays for military members as well. The same qualifications apply. Please feel free to ask us more Disney vacation planning questions
here at planDisney. I'm all ears!
Magic always,
LeAndra
