Greetings, Alexis, and welcome to planDisney, where we love all things Frozen! Even though some people are worth melting for, the ice in our coolers is not. So to keep you up to date on the latest rules of the kingdom, let's see what's allowed in your cooler at
Walt Disney World Resort. The cold never bothered me anyway!
According to the official
Walt Disney World Resort Property Rules, reusable ice packs are the recommended means of keeping your food (and fractals) frozen while you're in the theme parks. However, I spoke to a friendly cast member who said that if your cooler is within the recommended size allowance of 24"x15"x18" and your ice is securely sealed in a plastic bag, you should be good to enter the theme parks. Remember that glass containers (except baby food) and alcoholic beverages are prohibited.
Here's another quick tip for staying cool in the parks. You can ask any
Quick Service restaurant for a cup of ice-cold water, and it's complimentary! So you'll be able to stay as cool as any resident of Arendelle!
For the first time in forever, I hope you have a really cool visit, Alexis. Please
stop by planDisney anytime for advice, tips, and maybe a snowball fight.
Magic awaits,
Elaine
