Greetings, Nikki, and welcome to planDisney!
Thanks for coming to us with your question. Oh boy, you are in for a real treat if you choose to visit the Disneyland Resort over the Holidays! It's one of the most beautiful times to visit and the Cast Members do a phenomenal job of making everything so festive and wintry! It's actually one of my sister's Christmas traditions to visit the Parks with her family and view the decorations.
At this time, Disney has not announced any
Disneyland After Dark events over the
Holiday Season. Back in 2021, they did hold a special ticketed event called Merriest Nites but it hasn't returned these past couple of years. The closest ticketed event around that time (as of this writing) would be the highly popular
Oogie Boogie Bash, which ends on Halloween night. Even without a ticketed party, I love everything there is to see and do at both Parks for the Holidays. Believe me, you won't be disappointed! Of course, I would recommend following the
Disney Parks Blog for any possible announcements of special events as the time of Sandy Claws draws near.
One thing that we do share with the Walt Disney World Resort is the annual
Candlelight Ceremony. And be sure not to miss
Haunted Mansion Holiday and
"it's a small world" Holiday! Those are two attraction overlays that have been unique to the Disneyland Resort and are fan favorites! And you have to try a Mickey Gingerbread if you see one!
Nikki, I wish you the best as you plan a trip to the Happiest Place on Earth. Please feel free to write to us again if you have any more questions. It would be our pleasure to help you plan a magical vacation and you're always welcome at planDisney. Until next time!
Wishing You a Great, Big, Beautiful Tomorrow!
