Hey there, Leslie! I am glad to welcome you to planDisney. It's always great to meet other members of the
Passholder family and talk about the year of magical benefits available to us.
I was at
Walt Disney World Resort this past week and had the joy of receiving a message letting me know that
theme park reservations were no longer required on some of my vacation days. "Good to Go" days are the best! Not only can you enter any theme park without a reservation, but you can also try for a
Virtual Queue at 7 a.m. Eastern from any eligible attraction in any of the parks. Currently, Virtual Queues are available for
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind in
EPCOT and
Tiana's Bayou Adventure in
Magic Kingdom Park.
You can try for a Boarding Group just as you would any day you have a theme park reservation. Go to the Virtual Queue tile on the
My Disney Experience app home page (the house icon at the bottom of the screen) or the main menu page (the "≡"). You can pick your theme park, and you should show up as an "Eligible Guest" at either. I always set the alarm on my phone to wake me up at 6:50 a.m., so I have time to set up my Boarding Group and keep hitting "Refresh" until that glorious "Join a Virtual Queue" button appears.
If you do not get a group at 7 a.m., you can try again at 1 p.m. You just need to be in the theme park with the attraction to be eligible.
Thinking of our beloved Tiana, don't forget to stop by the
Creations Shop inside EPCOT for the limited-time Passholder magnet. Ray will be dropping in on his way to reunite with Evangeline for the latest magnet, available from January 21 through February 28 (while supplies last).
Whether you go down the bayou or jump through time and space to save the galaxy, I hope your trip to the Most Magical Place on Earth is practically perfect in every way! If we can help with any other questions, please stop back by
planDisney.
There ain't nothing going to stop you now. You're almost there!
See 'Ya Real Soon!
