Hi, and thanks for visiting planDisney, Audrey!
Looks like you’ll be visiting the
Happiest Place on Earth in just a couple of weeks!
Purchasing your tickets is the first step to experiencing the magic of the
Disneyland Resort, and it sounds like you’ll be traveling with a magical party. Upon purchase, you do identify individual names for tickets, however, photo ID is not typically required unless you’re using a
resident-specific or military ticket. Guests who are minors typically also do not need to provide identification. Upon first entry scan, guests will have their picture taken, at which point those tickets are no longer transferable to another guest.
You’ll be arriving about a week before
Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort officially begins, however, the stars may align for you to catch a little glimpse of fall decor being put up at both parks! It’s such a festive time of year, and I sure hope you get to see that magic! If you want to give everyone a hands-free way to enter the park, you can purchase or use a
MagicBand+ to scan entry into either park and
Lightning Lane Multi Pass or Single Pass selections. Check out the
Disney Store online to see what MagicBand+ designs are available before you go, or stop by
World of Disney in
Downtown Disney District to purchase your favorite design.
Well, Audrey, I hope this is helpful, and I’m wishing you and your party the best time. If you have any other questions before your visit, feel free to
send us another message!
Safe travels and have a magical visit!
Camille
