    How can i purchases another Magic Key Pass for someone else when i have one already under my Disney account ?

    Hey there, Hi there, Ho there, Johnnie, welcome to planDisney!

    From one Magic Key pass holder to another, I hope you're thoroughly enjoying your pass and taking advantage of all the benefits and perks that we have! I see you are one of pure heart and would like to purchase another Magic Key pass for someone else. Lucky for you, I use my magic mirror for good and will share the steps for you below:

    • Guests can purchase Magic Keys for other individuals, they will just need the personal information for each Magic Key pass holder to link the pass to those individuals. Here's the official Magic Key Buying Guide.
    • Make sure the email they provide is the same one used for their Disney account. If they're over 14 and don't have a Disney account, they should sign up for one. If this isn't completed up front, their pass is linked to your Disney account and the only way to move it is to call or visit a ticket booth.
    • I see that you're from California, and if you plan to do monthly payments, just know that as the purchaser, the contract will be in your name, but their pass will be linked to their account. They also should be California residents and the address reflected in their Disney account.
    • You are unable to move the contract to the individual but you can update a payment method via call to the Magic Key Holders Hotline.
    • If the card is in their name, they also need to be present on that call.
    • Reminder, updating the monthly payment method does not transfer the contract to them. It will remain in your name, ultimately making you responsible for payments on the account.
