Hey there, hi there, Elizabeth! Welcome to planDisney. We are so glad you've stopped by to ask us your ticket question.
I am so excited to hear you will be visiting Disneyland Resort very soon with your family. Disneyland is a place for everyone to be able to show up just as they are and experience all the magic! If you purchased a
standard ticket for your daughter, you will be fine if the names don't match as you shouldn't need an ID for a standard ticket. Adding a name to the ticket is more so for you the Guest to be able to differentiate multiple tickets that are linked to your account. If you purchased the Southern California Resident Ticket Offer, this is where the name matching may be necessary as a a valid government ID with a matching address will be checked. If you need a name changed on a ticket, the person who purchased the ticket will need to call in or chat in the
Disneyland app to update the name. However, it looks like you are visiting sooner than when the Southern California Ticket offer starts, so this means your daughter should be able to keep and celebrate her new name on her ticket.
The
holidays are still in full swing in the parks and throughout the resort through January 7, 2023, so you'll still get a chance to try out all the yummy holiday treats. Be sure to take some time to enjoy Disney Festival of Holidays at Disney California Adventure Park. Our family loves grabbing trays of bites to try!
Elizabeth, thanks so much for bringing us your question. I hope your family has a magical visit! See you real soon!
