Hello! I bought my sister in law and nieces 1 day park hoppers at my local military base. Do I have to be present for admission? The tickets are not part of the Military salute 3/4 day offer.

Hey there, hi there, Raquel! Welcome to planDisney. We love helping Guests get answers to all of their planning questions and I am here to help you!

I am so excited to hear you were able to take advantage of purchasing discounted tickets at your local military base. We are a military family as well and always look forward to the offers extended to military members to enjoy some time at The Happiest Place on Earth. I am happy to share that if the tickets you purchased for your family were standard military tickets, you do not need to be present for your family to enter the parks. The Disney Military Promotional Park Hopper Tickets do require the military member or spouse to be present with proof of military ID and they also need to be using one of the tickets.

I do want to make sure I pass along the important information that because they were purchased on base, theme park ticket reservations need to be made as soon as possible after purchase. To do this, your sister-in-law would need to link these tickets to her Disney account. I recommend doing this through the Disneyland app so she can also be ready to conveniently scan the tickets in the app at the gate. Once she has the tickets linked, she can make theme park ticket reservations for them in the app as well by tapping the "+" on the menu at the bottom of the screen and then tapping "Make a Park Reservation".

Raquel, thanks so much for stopping by. I hope your sister-in-law and niece have a magical visit! Be sure to send them our way if they have any other planning questions!
