Hi there, Ashley!
Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question. I completely understand checking the weather app obsessively before a Disney trip. Florida skies can be unpredictable! While a little rain won’t dampen the magic, I get wanting to adjust your plans if thunderstorms are in the forecast. But don’t forget to toss some ponchos in your park bag, just in case!
The good news is that you can modify your
Lightning Lane Premier Pass if your plans change. To do this, open the
My Disney Experience app and look for the Lightning Lane Premier Pass section on your home screen. You should see an option to modify your pass; just select the guests whose passes you’d like to change, choose a new date, and confirm. Keep in mind that pricing can vary by date and park, so if your new day costs more, you’ll be prompted to pay the difference. If the new date is less expensive, there won’t be a refund for the difference. Also, modifications are subject to availability, so I recommend checking as soon as possible to secure your preferred day!
If you run into any trouble modifying your pass,
Website Support is just a phone call away, and a My Disney Experience specialist can walk you through the process.
One of the best things about Lightning Lane Premier Pass is the flexibility it gives you. Unlike other Lightning Lane options, you don’t have to book arrival windows or make individual attraction selections in advance. That means you can explore Magic Kingdom at your own pace, doing attractions in a way that makes the most sense for your group, and the best part is there's no need to zigzag across the park!
I hope this helps, Ashley! Wishing you a day filled with magical memories and hopefully some sunshine, too. See ya real soon!
