Hi Heather!
I'm so glad you stopped by planDisney with your question. I'm a big fan of
Memory Maker and have added it to my Annual Pass as an upgrade for the past few years. I love getting everyone in the photo instead of relying on selfies or always being stuck behind the camera.
Disney PhotoPass photographers are so skilled at capturing our magical moments, and the added
Magic Shots and attraction photos really make it a no-brainer purchase for my family.
Before becoming a Passholder, I often opted for Memory Maker One Day during short visits. This is a perfect way to capture all those special memories from a single day in the parks, while sticking to a smaller price point. It's great that you've already completed your purchase and planned out your best value day.
Magic Kingdom Park has tons of magical photo opportunities, so I can understand why you would want to make sure it's activated that day and not during your visit to EPCOT.
The good news is that you are in full control of the activation.
As I recently explained to another guest, you'll see watermarks on all the images in your Photo Gallery as they are captured. When you're ready to activate your purchase, simply click on an image and follow the prompts below to activate and remove the watermarks. In this case, you'd want to select a photo from your day at Magic Kingdom to activate.
Memory Maker One Day includes all your Disney PhotoPass media from 6:00 AM EST on the date of activation through 5:59 AM EST the following day, so you won't have to worry about missing out on photo evidence of your adventures. If you do happen to notice a photo is missing from your gallery, you can
follow the instructions here to submit a request. Once you activate your Memory Maker purchase, be sure to
download your images before they expire 45 days from the date of capture.
Heather, I hope this helped! If we can answer any additional questions or offer suggestions for your EPCOT or Magic Kingdom itineraries, please come back and let us know. We're always ready to help guests have their best day ever!
Magic and memories,
Amy
