I just purchased Memory Maker for my upcoming trip to WDW. Should I reassign the Memory Maker to my daughter? We will be together for the first 3 days of our trip, but she and her family will stay 2 more days. How do I choose who it is assigned to?

    Hiya Rick,

Welcome back to planDisney! I love that you are visiting with your daughter and her family as well during your upcoming visit! There is just something extra special about time with your family, and when you add in the magic of Walt Disney World Resort, it really is the best day ever! It is great that you are going to use Memory Maker to save snapshots of all the core memories.

Speaking of Memory Maker, I like where your head is going, Rick. Even though you won't be with your daughter for the last part of the trip, you still want those memories saved. The good news is that you don't have to reassign Memory Maker to your daughter. When you purchase Memory Maker, it can be used for up to 25 Guests who are linked to your Family and Friends list (and share their Disney PhotoPass pictures with you)! The even better news is that you don't have to be together for it to work, and that means your daughter can take pictures on the last two days of her trip, and those will also be included for you to download under your single Memory Maker.

So how do you set that up? Under your My Disney Experience account, access your Family and Friends list. If you and your daughter are already linked, scroll through your connections until you find her name. Then click "Edit Settings" and make sure to toggle the option to allow her to view your Disney PhotoPass photos (she should do the same on her account). Then click Save to link you for Memory Maker. If you are not linked yet, at the top of your page you will see an option to "Add a Guest." Click that option, then follow the on-screen prompts to add your daughter to your Family and Friends list. Then just follow the steps I've already shared for PhotoPass.

I hope this was helpful, Rick. Before I let you go, don't forget to activate your Memory Maker by selecting one of the photos you take on the first day in the My Disney Experience Mobile App Photo Gallery. Once you click it, you'll see an option to activate your Memory Maker! If you need anything else, please come back and see us.

    Happy Planning,

    Ashley F.
