Hi Jennifer! Welcome to planDisney! January is such a great time to visit
Walt Disney World that we find ourselves visiting then, too. With your Memory Maker purchase, you’ll be capturing every unforgettable smile and thrill during your family vacation. From interactions with beloved Disney Characters to breathtaking views throughout the parks, these photos will bring you back to your vacation moments for years to come.
Memory Maker enhances your Disney experience by giving you unlimited digital photos through the
Disney PhotoPass Service. It’s great that you purchased it in advance; this saves you some money for other treats, like a Mickey-shaped ice cream or pretzel, and it also allows you to have everything ready to go when your trip arrives! You can add Memory Maker to your My Disney Experience account now, and the good news is that you don’t have to activate it until your first Disney PhotoPass photo is taken and added to your account. At that point, you’ll see your photo with a watermark. When ready, simply activate your Memory Maker to remove the watermark and download your photos. If you ordered Memory Maker while logged in to your
MyDisney account, it should be ready to activate upon your arrival. If you don’t see it loaded into your account, open up the My Disney Experience app, tap the menu icon (three horizontal lines), scroll down to the “Disney PhotoPass” section, and select “Photo Gallery.” On the next screen, select “Link Photos,” then scroll the top bar to “Link Memory Maker.” Input the ID number associated with your purchase, and you’ll be ready to activate after that first photo!
A few crucial details from the Memory Maker website to remember: Once activated, your Memory Maker will include photos captured during a 30-day period. You’ll have unlimited downloads of all photos and videos taken within that period, but any media captured outside those 30 days won’t be included under your Memory Maker. Additionally, while Memory Maker covers photos of everyone linked to your Family & Friends list in My Disney Experience, only the account that purchased it can download the media without the watermark.
For some priceless photo ops, be sure to capture the classic shot on Main Street, U.S.A., with Cinderella Castle in the background. But don’t stop there! Head around the sides of the castle for unique angles, or visit EPCOT for the 360-degree photo opportunity with Spaceship Earth behind you. Disney’s Hollywood Studios has some fantastic photo spots as well, like Toy Story Land and Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, where you’ll find Disney PhotoPass photographers ready to capture some galactic moments.
I hope this helps you get the most out of your Memory Maker!
