Hello, We are looking to book a large family group holiday to Disney in October 2026 for 21 adults and 15 children in 11 rooms

Hi Catherine! Welcome to planDisney, and thank you for stopping by with your question. Planning a large family holiday to the Most Magical Place On Earth sounds amazing! Staying in a Disney Resorts Collection hotel will ensure your group enjoys all the best perks, from easy transportation options (like the monorail, Skyliner, and buses) to early theme park entry and access to the Disney Dining Plan. Not to mention, you’ll be fully immersed in Disney’s incredible theming, making your family holiday even more memorable!

For a group as large as yours, it sounds like you’ll qualify for a group rate, which is available for bookings of ten rooms or more. To set up this type of reservation, I recommend contacting the Group Reservations team at the number listed in the Disney World Help Center under Reservations and Tickets. For non-US-based Guests, you can reach Disney’s Group Reservations by dialing the international code for the U.S. (+1), followed by 407-939-1942.

Now, onto resort recommendations! For a family group with many children, the Family Suites at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort might be what you’re looking for. These suites offer separate living and sleeping areas, two bathrooms, and a convenient kitchenette, great for storing snacks and quick breakfasts before a day at the parks! Plus, Art of Animation has direct access to the Disney Skyliner, providing easy transportation to EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

For a bit more space, consider booking one or more Treehouse Villas at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa. These unique, standalone villas are nestled in the woods, providing a peaceful retreat with three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, and a private deck. The Treehouse Villas strike the perfect balance between privacy and togetherness for large groups.

For more luxurious accommodations, you can’t go wrong with any of the 1-, 2-, or 3-bedroom suites at Disney’s Deluxe Villa Resorts. Options like The Villas at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, Disney’s Beach Club Villas, and Disney’s BoardWalk Villas are among my favorites and will provide you with stunning resort amenities, spacious accommodations, and great locations. These resorts offer easy access to either Magic Kingdom or EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios, as well as world-class dining, pools, and recreation.

I hope this helps give you some direction, Catherine! Please feel free to come back with more questions as you plan your family’s holiday.

    Cheers,
    Brent
