    We purchased a memory maker last month for our trip in December. Will it not be active until we are actually at the park? We want to make sure we didn’t purchase too early.

    I'm excited to hear about your upcoming holiday visit to the Walt Disney World Resort! A trip during the holiday season is what dreams are made of, especially with the spectacular festive decor across the parks and resorts.

    I'm happy to hear that you're including Memory Maker for your upcoming stay. Having access to your photos taken during your vacation is the perfect way to commemorate a special holiday. If you went ahead and added this to your vacation package upon booking, it will not activate until you arrive and begin using the service with Disney PhotoPass Photographers. You'll have unlimited downloads of all photos and videos taken during your trip.

    You'll find plenty of options to pose for photos all across the theme parks as you explore each day. Make sure to have your MagicBand+ or admission card ready to scan in order to load your photos to your My Disney Experience account. Any photos or pictures taken will be available to view once they have been uploaded to your account. Also, you'll have full access to all ride photos and videos taken on attractions that include this option. Look out for them as you explore each day.

    Jennifer, I hope you have a magical time during your stay! Remember to look out for any tasty treats that are around for the holiday season. They will be sprinkled throughout many of the parks and resorts.
