Hi Donald,
Welcome to planDisney!
Well, let me say, if there was an award for early planning, you would certainly be worthy of receiving it! Any month is a good month to visit the Walt Disney World Resort. Certainly, there are some considerations that you may need to think through as you plan. During November, there is the Thanksgiving holiday which could see increased crowds. So, your dates that are closer to the beginning of the month would at least mean you avoid those holiday crowds. However, one of our favorite times of year is the
Holidays at Walt Disney World Resort. This year, it officially begins November 12th.
As you look for resort options, I encourage you to take a look at the
Disney Resorts Collection. A few of our favorite resort hotels include
Disney's Contemporary Resort,
Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, and
Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. Each of these resort hotels has access to
Walt Disney World Monorail Transportation. Two of them, Disney's Contemporary Resort and Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa are also within walking distance to Magic Kingdom. My family loves being able to walk to and from Magic Kingdom, especially after watching the Happily Ever After fireworks!
If, like my family, you are on a budget, also consider
Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa. We stayed here on our first visit to the Walt Disney World Resort with our girls and my parents. The resort was lovely and the 2 Bedroom Villa was spacious. So, take some time to review the amenities at each resort hotel and then do some price comparisons. Also keep an eye on the
Special Offers to see if any are released for the dates of your visit.
Donald, keep up the
practically perfect planning and do stop back by if you have additional questions!
Magic and memories,
Donyell
