Hiya Kara,
Welcome back to planDisney! My family can always count on me for three things: reserving the incredible dining, taking care of all the lightning lane multi-pass selections, and making us stop to take pictures anytime the line is short! I love using
Memory Maker and the incredible PhotoPass photographers to capture my littles as they grow so that those memories last forever.
Great question about Memory Maker! Memory Maker is not necessarily date-based, so for it to work, you need to activate it. Once you take your first photos during your vacation, you can officially activate Memory Maker. To do so, log into your
My Disney Experience app, select the three horizontal lines in the bottom right corner, and scroll to select Photo Gallery. Tap on any photo from the first day, and you will be prompted to activate your Memory Maker. Follow the on-screen prompt, and voila! All of your photos taken during your trip (and up to 30 days after activation unless it is a one-day Memory Maker) will be included.
I hope this was helpful, Kara. Before I let you go, don’t forget to have everyone in your group linked to your Family and Friends list. My favorite part about Memory Maker is that anyone linked to your list (up to 25 people who share media with you) can also have their photos included under your Memory Maker package (even if you aren’t in the photo). I have a two-year-old who gets antsy, so my Prince Charming will take her around the park to ride attractions and take pictures while I wait in queues. I love opening up my photo gallery at the end of the day to see what silly photos they took together while I was feeding our newest Mouseketeer. One last thing: make sure to download your photos before they expire (which is 45 days from when they were captured). Otherwise, they will disappear like Cinderella’s carriage. Please come back and see
us if you have any additional questions!
Happy Planning,
Ashley F.
