Hello Chrishelly,
Welcome to planDisney! I’m thrilled to hear about your first visit to
Walt Disney World Resort, what an exciting adventure awaits! Capturing those magical moments with your phone or camera is essential, and I know you’ll create memories that will last a lifetime. Don’t forget to take advantage of
Disney PhotoPass Service, where talented Cast Members are ready to snap professional photos for you. And with
Memory Maker, you can download all those special moments, letting you keep your phone or camera tucked away while still bringing home those picture-perfect memories.
Regarding your gimbal, as long as it’s non-extendable (like a selfie stick) and fits neatly in your standard-size Loungefly backpack, you should be good to go!
Walt Disney World’s Park Rules prohibit items that extend or could obstruct the view or enjoyment of other Guests, but a non-extendable gimbal that helps you capture smooth, steady videos should be perfectly fine.
I hope this helps answer your question! Since this is your first visit, if you have any follow-ups or need advice on other topics, like the differences between
Lightning Lane passes, where to find the most delicious snacks or the best spots to enjoy a refreshing cocktail after a day of magic, feel free to
send another question (or two) my way. I’d be happy to help make your first Walt Disney World vacation practically perfect in every way!
See you real soon,
Brent
