We purchased disneyland tickets for summer but our plans got cancelled. Can the tickets be used later in the year? Do we need to change park reservation right now for that?

Hi Navneet! Welcome back to planDisney.

Sometimes life gets in the way of our magical plans. We've had hurricanes and illness cause our dreamed-of vacation plans to fall through, and it's always incredibly disappointing. However, the good news is that if your valid tickets are unused, you typically can make a new theme park reservation on any available, eligible day. Standard Disneyland Resort admission tickets have very generous expiration dates, so you should have some time to plan your new visit. Halloween Time and the Holidays at the Disneyland Resort are both incredibly popular times to visit, for example. Start dreaming your new dream! It's the quickest way to get over that cancellation disappointment.

To modify a theme park reservation on the Disneyland mobile app, tap the three-bar menu on the bottom right, scroll down, and tap "Park Reservations." Next, you'll want to select "Make or Modify Park Reservations." Park reservation availability isn't guaranteed, so you'll want to make your new selection as soon as possible.

If your tickets are one-day tickets, please be aware that they are sold and priced by tier. You can select any available park day from the same or a lower tier. If your new park day is a higher tier, you'll have to pay the difference. Credit, debit, and Disney Gift Cards are all conveniently accepted.

If you have questions about your tickets, a friendly Cast Member is ready to assist on the Tickets phone line.

I hope you have a magical day.
