Hello, James, and welcome to planDisney! It's almost time to soak up the magic of Disneyland Park – can you already smell the popcorn and hear the sounds of
The Dapper Dans? Let's make sure you're all set for a smooth arrival.
The easiest thing for you to do would be to print your eTicket from a computer in advance. Start by looking for the confirmation email from when you purchased your ticket. You should see an option to access the eTicket from there. Print that out and bring it with you – it will have a barcode that can be scanned at the gate.
You should also be able to visit the ticket window on-site to have your ticket reissued, provided that you bring the following: the credit card you used to purchase your ticket, a government-issued photo ID, and your order confirmation. If you can't locate the order confirmation email, I would suggest
calling the Tickets line to speak with a Cast Member.
Here are some tips for making the most of a visit without a mobile device:
- Make sure to grab a paper map just inside the main entrance to help navigate the park.
- There's a board near the end of Main Street, U.S.A. that usually displays wait times for some attractions.
- The first few hours after the park opens are great for experiencing attractions, since the wait times tend to be a bit shorter compared to other parts of the day.
- You can typically scan into the park about 30 minutes early and make your way down Main Street U.S.A. until you reach the roped-off area. You'll be ready to head straight to your first attraction when the ropes are removed at the official park opening time.
- Try to plan meals a little earlier or later to avoid long lines. I really love the soup at Harbour Galley.
James, I hope you have a wonderful time celebrating at the Happiest Place on Earth! If you have any questions while at the park, stop by one of the
Guest Relations locations to speak with a Cast Member. Of course, you can also come back to planDisney – we're always happy to help!
Wishing you magic,
Kriss
