    We purchased the discounted kids ticket and made reservations for January 22. We then purchased magic key passes yesterday. Would we be able to return the single day tickets we purchased? Or what other options might we have?

    Hey there, Jennifer!

    Welcome back to planDisney and, as my friend and fellow panelist Danielle has already said, "Congrats on getting Magic Key Passes!!" The stars were truly shining on you that day because I know plenty of Guests who were unable to get a new Magic Key. The demand is truly extraordinary!

    The Kids' Special Ticket Offer is a wonderful deal and it introduces a whole new generation to the Magic that is the Disneyland Resort. I'm sure that many of us can trace our love for Disney back to those childhood visits (I know I can!). As per the eTicket Terms and Conditions, I'm afraid that tickets are nonrefundable and nontransferable for commercial purposes. So you won't be able to return them, but I have a few options for you to consider:

    • The name assigned to the ticket doesn't matter, so the ticket may be gifted to another Guest age 3-9 as long as it has not yet been used. Just link it to the Disney account of their guardian/parent, make sure they have reservations, and make sure it is used before it expires on March 10, 2024, or 13 days after first use. 
    • Keep the ticket for yourself and use it if you ever want your child to visit during a Magic Key blockout date. Just keep in mind that it expires 13 days after first use or March 10, 2024.
    • Per the Terms and Condition, the cost of an unused, expired Disneyland Resort Theme Park Ticket may be applied towards the purchase of a new Ticket as long as it is equal or greater in price. You could also trade it in for a regular Theme Park Ticket with an extended expiration date. Stop by the Main Entrance Ticket Booth to speak to a Cast Member and review your options.

    Will you be visiting Disney California Adventure during the Lunar New Year Festival? It's the Year of the Dragon, so be on the lookout for Mushu to make an appearance! Come hungry because the Foodie Guide has been published and everything looks so yummy! I love all the Asian inspired foods they create for this Festival and don't miss Mulan's Lunar New Year Procession!

    Fun Fact: Famous Hong Kong action star Jackie Chan was asked to dub the voice of Li Shang in the Mandarin and Chinese versions of the animated film "Mulan." He even sings a Chinese version of "I'll Make a Man Out of You," a video of which can be found on the special edition DVD release.
