Hi there, Patricia!Welcome to planDisney and we appreciate you stopping by with your question! Do you have a visit to the Disneyland Resort coming up soon? January is a great time to visit because the Parks are a little less busy after the recent Holiday Season and it becomes less congested in terms of crowds. Thanks to the Mediterranean climate that Southern California enjoys, it's very comfortable for most of the year. Temperatures in January tend to be cool during the daytime, with highs usually reaching the upper 60s or lower 70s. The nighttime can get a little chilly, getting as low as 40 sometimes. A good cover up and dressing in layers is definitely recommended for the evenings. If you're specifically interested in dining outdoors, I'm happy to report that you can easily enjoy a tasty outdoor meal during the month of January! The only caveat to that would be if there is rain in the forecast. There are many restaurants at the Disneyland Resort that offer outdoor seating and here are a few of my favorites:
Don't forget to make your dining reservations (where applicable) 60 days before your visit! I'm sure you'll be able to find something you'll like. I think the Disneyland Resort has really redefined itself as a foodie destination in the last decade and I often plan my trips around their Foodie Guides.Fun Fact: There are plenty of secrets for the savvy Guest to find. Disneyland Resort restaurants sometimes have so-called "secret" dishes that are not listed on the main menu that Guests in the know will order. There's even a secret room inside Lamplight Lounge!Patricia, I hope that this gave you some comfort as you plan your trip to the Happiest Place on Earth! Please feel free to stop by again if you have any more questions! We'd love to hear from you in the future!Wishing You a Great, Big, Beautiful Tomorrow!-Al
