Hi there, Cathlene, and welcome to planDisney!
Thanks so much for coming to us with your question. I'm sorry to hear that your plans have changed and that you won't be able to make your planned visit to the Disneyland Resort. I certainly hope that you'll be able to reschedule your trip at some point in the future. It's a milestone year for the Walt Disney Company and they've been holding the
Disney100 Celebration all this year. No matter when you decide to visit, I'm sure that you'll have a fantastic time here!
Per the
Ticket Terms and Conditions, Disneyland Resort
Theme Park Tickets cannot be resold. However, if it has not yet been used or activated, then you may transfer that ticket to another individual for them to use. Even though the name attached to the ticket may not be accurate, it should not affect the ticket's use because the Cast Members do not check ID for Park entry on regular tickets.
In order to transfer the ticket to someone else, that individual will need to link that ticket to their Disneyland account. This may be done in the
Disneyland Mobile App by accessing the "☰" Features Menu. Scroll down to find "Link to Account," where the ticket may be linked by scanning its barcode into the ticket recipient's phone. Make sure that the recipient then goes into
Ticket and Reservation Details to change the reservation date(s) if needed!
Cathlene, I hope that this answer was helpful for you. I hope that you'll eventually find your way to the Happiest Place on Earth at some point for a magical visit as well. If you need anything else from us, please feel free to write again anytime because you're always welcome at planDisney!
Wishing You a Great, Big, Beautiful Tomorrow!
