Hey Jessica,
Welcome to planDisney! Thank you for bringing us your Walt Disney World question.
Lightning Lane Passes are one of my most favorite Disney World add-ons. The three different varieties allow guests to skip the traditional standby queue for select attractions and experiences. Available options are Lightning Lane Multi Pass, Lightning Lane Single Pass and Lightning Lane Premier Pass. You’re interested in using Single Pass and Premier Pass together, and the good news is that you certainly can. The great thing about the My Disney Experience system is that it's super smart. It will automatically use your time-bound Lightning Lane before using your Premier Pass allotment when you scan into an attraction if you’re doing so within the Single Pass return window.
Now Jessica, if you’re anything like me, you’re still going to worry about these Lightning Lanes being used correctly. I may very well have trust issues. If you do, too, you can always chat with a cast member outside of the attraction. Just let them know that you’d like to ensure that the correct Lightning Lane is used and they’ll be happy to help. This method could save you a trip to
Guest Relations in the rare instance that the
My Disney Experience app failed to prioritize the correct Lightning Lane.
Bonus tip: don’t forget that you get very cool
photo perks with your Lightning Lane purchase. So many guests forget that they receive downloads of select
attraction photos and Disney
Photo Pass Lenses when they purchase Lightning Lane Passes. My youngest son loves to take photos with some of his favorite characters with these lenses whenever we use them. They also provide a great distraction when little Mouseketeers are waiting in queues for things like attractions, character meet & greets and meals.
I hope this information is helpful, Jessica. If you need any additional help with your vacation, please visit us here at planDisney again. Until then, TTFN… ta-ta for now!
