Welcome to planDisney, Becky!
Adventure awaits you at The Most Magical Place on Earth! And how awesome is it that you and I get to take advantage of
Florida resident discounts? Let’s get into how you can get a sprinkle of pixie dust on your purchase.
For any Florida-resident theme park ticket or Disney Resorts Collection hotel stay, you need to prove Florida residency. If you have a Florida driver’s license or state-issued ID card or military ID with a Florida address, you have practically everything you need to receive the discount.
If you don’t have that specific identification, you’ll need another photo ID like your passport. However, you’ll also want to bring one of the following items:
-Mortgage payment
-Homeowner's insurance policy or bill
-Automobile registration, insurance policy, or bill
-Utility bill (power, water, cable, or phone)
-Mail from financial institutions or government agencies
Just so you know, P.O. Boxes aren’t accepted as proof of residency; only Florida physical addresses. And the aforementioned items must be dated within the last two months. Have these documents handy when you visit the theme parks’ ticket window, Guest Relations, or the Ticket Center at
Disney Springs. With a proper utility bill, you’ll be just fine.
Becky, I hope that this answer helps you with your vacation planning. If you have any other questions or need suggestions about how to maximize your time at Walt Disney World Resort,

Magic always,
