Are their projections on castle for 4th of July fireworks

    Hello there, Mindy!

Welcome to planDisney and thanks for stopping by with a star-spangled Walt Disney World Resort vacation planning question. It sounds like you might have the incredible opportunity to celebrate Independence Day at The Most Magical Place on Earth this year - how exciting! While I've never visited the Walt Disney World Resort over Independence Day, I'll certainly be watching my hometown fireworks and pretending I'm standing in front of Cinderella Castle this year...

As a special salute to our nation's freedom, some special fireworks spectaculars are taking place on July 3rd and 4th, 2024 at Magic Kingdom Park and on July 4th at EPCOT. "Disney's Celebrate America! A Fourth of July Concert in the Sky" takes place at 9:20 p.m. both evenings, illuminating the sky above Magic Kingdom Park and around Seven Seas Lagoon in a spectacular inspired by the stars and stripes! Mindy, since I've never experienced July 4th at the Walt Disney World Resort, I tuned in to a livestream hosted by a third-party YouTuber to check out the excitement at Magic Kingdom Park. I'm proud to report that, before the nighttime spectacular, Cinderella Castle is covered in stunning stars and stripes projections as a DJ provides live entertainment to Guests awaiting the fireworks display! During the show, Guests will delight in basic projections, including stars and stripes that move and shift across the castle, but the real star of the show is the magnificent fireworks display, which is set against a backdrop of patriotic tunes.

Mindy, in addition to "Disney's Celebrate America! A Fourth of July Concert in the Sky," Guests can partake in patriotic splendor at EPCOT on July 4th following the evening's 9:00 p.m. performance of Luminous The Symphony of Us. This one-night spectacular, titled "Heartbeat of Freedom" will celebrate the birth of our nation amidst the beautiful World Showcase Lagoon. During the daytime, be on the lookout for classic Disney pals donned in colonial attire commemorating the holiday in The American Adventure pavilion!

I hope you've found this information helpful, Mindy. I wish you a very happy Independence Day and a glorious vacation at The Most Magical Place on Earth! If you have any additional questions throughout your visit, you can always stop back by planDisney anytime. We're all ears!

Wishing you a holiday filled with magic,

    Lauren
