Will the princess breakfast be available in Disneyland on April 12? If not, what other character experiences are available in April and where?

Hello, Sylvia! Welcome to planDisney! I'm so excited for your upcoming visit to the Happiest Place on Earth and that you're thinking about a Character Dining experience. Meeting Disney Pals is so magical and always a highlight for our family.

Your question is a good one, Sylvia, so let's dive right in. According to the Disneyland website, the Princess Breakfast may have limited availability for its Character Dining experience because of an upcoming refurbishment occurring at Napa Rose restaurant. In addition, advance dining reservations can be made only 60 days out, which means reservations have not been released yet for April 12. I recommend that you check availability on the Disneyland website at 6am PST on February 11 (which is 60 days out and coming up soon!) and with a little faith and pixie dust, you may be able to secure a reservation for the enchanting Princess Breakfast!

There are three other Character Dining experiences at the Disneyland Resort, in addition to the Princess Breakfast. All magical!

There's Storytellers Cafe at the Grand Californian - the only Character Dining where you're guaranteed to meet Mickey Mouse! But be aware there may be limited availability at this location, as well, because of a refurbishment. However, doesn't hurt to try!

Minnie & Friends is located inside Disneyland Park (with views of Sleeping Beauty Castle), so a theme park ticket is required for this delightful breakfast.

And Goofy's Kitchen is located at the incredibly nostalgic Disneyland Hotel. My family loves Goofy's Kitchen and have the time of our lives swinging those napkins around and eating soft-serve ice cream (yogurt) for breakfast! We also always have to try Goofy's Famous Peanut Butter Pizza!

Fun fact: Currently, Goofy's Kitchen is the only Character Dining location where Guests are able to meet Disney Pals at dinnertime! What a better way to kick off your visit to the Disneyland Resort than an arrival day dinner!

Advanced reservations are highly recommended for any of the Character Dining experiences and should be made 60 days prior to your visit either on the Disneyland website or in the Disneyland app.

Sylvia, I also want to make sure you know about Royal Hall in Fantasy Faire! Up to three of the world's most-loved Disney Princesses at any given time receive Guests in their own special nook in a quaint little medieval square to take photos and sign autographs - all included in your theme park ticket to Disneyland Park! To avoid long lines, I recommend arriving to Royal Hall, located next to Sleeping Beauty Castle, a little before 10am, when it opens. It's a fairytale come true!

I hope this has been helpful to you in your planning, Sylvia, and that you have an incredible time immersed in the Disneyland magic, however that may be. If you have any additional questions or perhaps would like tips on how to make your character interactions more magical (like what to ask Princess Jasmine when you meet her), please don't hesitate to reach out again. You know where to find me!

    Warmest wishes,
    McCayla
