Hey there, Laura! Welcome to planDisney! Thanks for bringing us your Lightning Lane pass question.
As a fellow vacation planning enthusiast, I love that you’re already thinking ahead and strategizing on how to make your summertime Walt Disney World adventure as magical as possible. So let’s skip the search engine standby line and use the information Lightning Lane to find the details you’re looking for!
You can book passes for multiple parks using
Lightning Lane Multi Pass, but only after enjoying your first multi pass experience in your first park (and subject to availability). For example, if I was planning to start in Magic Kingdom and then park hop to Hollywood Studios, I would have to book my first 3 passes for the Magic Kingdom. Then after using my first one, I would have the option to book an additional pass and that could be used for attractions at Hollywood Studios (or EPCOT or Animal Kingdom). Remember, you have to have a ticket with the Park Hopper option to pop over to another theme park.
So to answer your question, if you have a Lighting Lane Multi Pass and a Park Hopper ticket then it is possible to book a pass for
Slinky Dog Dash later in the day. The catch is that it is a very popular ride and there are a limited number of Lighting Lane spots, so you’ll want to try to book it as soon as you scan into your first attraction. If there are no available passes for Slinky Dog Dash, then I encourage you to refresh your My Disney Experience mobile app throughout the day in case another guest drops theirs.
Laura, I hope this helps with your vacation planning. Your trip will be here before you know it, so don’t hesitate to send any other questions our way. You're as welcome as can be at planDisney!
Happy planning and magical travels!
Matt
